Varial Flip – Skateboarding

August 26th, 2009

Puehse Twins Skateboarding

Let us have a look at a particular trick called the Varial Flip. A varial flip is when there is a lateral rotation of the skateboard or rider. There should be a varial rotation of 180 degrees.

Get your friends to teach you. Skating is a big show off sport (you know I’m right). It’s all about who can do the most awesome tricks and who can land them consistently. So I bet you know some friends who know tricks that you don’t know.

Also, some skateboarding trick tips have been compiled and published in book form. These prove helpful because you can carry them around and whip them out at a moments notice. If you are die-hard and have some extra time and cash, most major cities offers skateboarding clinics and classes. These are great ways to get one-on-one professional instruction and learn things properly the first time!

Check out all the skating videos on the web. YouTube has A LOT of skateboard trick videos. I’ve watched a bunch of them and the skill level of some of the skaters is amazing. They are a great way to get ideas, and you can learn tricks this way. But it is not the easiest way to learn skateboarding tricks and you may find yourself getting frustrated.

Practice: I hate practice. I want things to happen instantly. Unfortunately the world doesn’t work that way. Skateboarding requires an insane amount of practice. You may spend days trying to master a single trick. Some skateboarders will spend weeks on a single move before they even come close to landing it. Don’t give up. Practice makes perfect and nowhere does that saying ring truer than in the world of skateboarding.

You can go on to heel flips and so forth after you have got to grips with the varial flip. I hope you have fun with this trick.
The trick, once learned, can be done at will, and looks a real neat and cool trick for you to perform. Like all tricks, your technique and control with this is everything, and you must have your technique rock solid before attempting it
